This is a last minute kind of trip, two friends asked me to go to two places one week after another and its hard to say no to friends and travel. I’m going to Iceland with Claire, whom I met on a tour of Central Asia 4 years ago and since then we’ve travelled a few times together to places like Bolivia, Jordan and Bulgaria. It also helps to spread the costs in Iceland as well. Then my good mate John and ex football coach who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, asked me to go watch our two favourite teams in the NFL play in the monday night opener. While i’m positive John will beat the cancer we also realise the two teams aren’t scheduled to play again til 2020, so this year is it. A quick 2 week trip and back home.
