A two week journey through this often heard about in the news but rarely visited island. A self governing island with its own currency, passports and border control, yet also part of the “One China” policy the respective governments have. I’m also going to visit Hong Kong on the way home as its one of my favourite places in the world, although I’ve been told to expect Taipei to challenge that!
